OPIRG is our parent organization, without who we could not exist. They are a social justice non-profit that has been operating in Niagara since 1988 and they run programming like the Niagara Free Store, the Anti-Racism Sponsorship Fund, and help Action Groups (like us!) get their start so that activism can thrive in Niagara. They are in need of funding to keep their doors open. You can join their Patreon and select the $20 level “Action Group Supporters,” and half of your donation will go to OPIRG and half will go to NRJ!

If you prefer to donate to NRJ directly through OPIRG Brock, which is a registered nonprofit and can give a charitable tax receipt, you may e-transfer opirgbrockbookkeeper@gmail.com with the purpose of your donation in the message section (make sure you include “NRJ” somewhere in the message!). Let us know if you would like a tax receipt.

Projects in Need of Funds
Materials Distribution – Help us cover the printing costs of our informational zines and fliers. Our zines debunk common anti-abortion myths, provide information on how to access low-cost and free sexual and reproductive health services in Niagara, and we have an entire zine devoted to exposing Crisis Pregnancy Centres and their dangerous anti-abortion tactics. The more we can print, the more we can distribute! (See Our Materials page)
Abortion Support Network – Help us provide financial support to folks who need help covering the cost of abortion, including transportation, childcare expenses, medication and supplies, lost wages, aftercare support, and support from local abortion doulas.
